HDAfterEdit is an editing and formatting application for authoring DVD's, HD DVD's, and Blu-ray Discs. HDAE can edit and combine pre-existing discs that are not copy-protected, without requiring access to the original assets. HDAE is priced at the special introductory price of $698, and is still in Alpha, but soon to go Beta.

HDAE provides several levels of editing, from simple navigation changes and rearrangement of assets, to access down to the most detailed specification levels. All editing can be AppleScript controlled, and there are higher-level functions for creation and control of advanced content files.

During the pre-release period, purchase of HDAfterEdit also includes ownership of DVDAfterEdit Mastering Edition, the premiere pre-mastering solution for standard definition DVD. On its completion, HDAE pre-mastering will be even easier than with its predecessor, and will include support for the new HD formats.
