Ability to burn direct to recordable media.

Further to this.

I hear ya about the feature order of importance but I didn't mean to imply that this is top of my wish list. I think it'd be a great addition and one that many people would use. I don't think this is something that should be on top of the list but something people would expect of the product. I know we get used to stuff cause we've been around for years but I think its one of those situations that a customer wouldn't bat eye lid if DVDAE ME burnt to DVD±R (DL) but are shocked when it doesn't.

But sure, there are other features I'd take over this.

Maybe I'm confused about the feature request list. Is it for all realistic things that could be implemented or just things that are being worked on? I am just mentioning things that I'd like as a DVD Author, QC guy, Mastering guy etc.

How about open 'Write Project with any Mac app'? Not just Toast :-)

No, you're not confused - it's for anything anyone suggests. But, it's also a forum for open discussion about those suggestions, and while I agree it would be a great feature to have, my concern about recordable media writing has always been that it could seriously slow up development in other areas. So, I never bothered to add it to the list before. But now I have :-)

It would be nice, but since my goal in suggesting it would be to minimise the development time, it sounds overly ambitious :-) Anyway, does anyone use anything else, on a Mac ?!?
