Gotcha #5

Isn't there other turn around with cell-commands ? I ust author a DVD with a lot of short movies, regrouped into 4 PGC with PTT. Each on has to return to the menu at its end, and I just saw the gotcha (It doesn't work with Apple DVD PLayer).

Thanks!

Add dummy PGC

I was wondering, what's the difference of adding dummy PGC by clicking on the VTS# and the PGC# ? Adding by the VTS# give me another TT# and PGC# give me the same TT#.

Thanks for the suggestions

Thanks for the suggestions Ian. I already try to disable UOPs for each PGC but it doesn't work on every of my players. Separate in each title seems to be a good solution, I'll try it.

Thanks a lot!

Hi Pierre-Luc,You have two

Hi Pierre-Luc,

You have two options:

- Put each chapter in it's own PGC. Select the VTS node in the Left Pane, and choose Add Dummy PGC. This can then be "stuffed" with each chapter separately using the Program Map Editor, and you can use post-commands to jump back to the menu. Each new PGC will have a unique Title (TT) number, which you can use to target navigation from the buttons. This approach is the equivalent of using stories in DVDSP. Alternatively:

- Deny the Scan Forward / Reverse UPPs in your chapters so that playback has to hit the cell-command, in which case it should execute normally.

Hth,

Ian
