Returning to a Menu with 2.0 AC3 from a Title with 5.1 AC3?

Hi Folks

I have a menu in the VGM with AC3 2.0 audio. I also have a title which contains both 2.0 AC3 and 5.1 AC3 streams. If the user has selected 5.1 and plays the title, are there any issues when returning to a menu with 2.0? Do I need to go to a dummy PGC with a couple seconds of AC3 2.0 and reset the audio or will a player automaticaly default to the only stream present in the menu without problems.

Myself...

I never do anything special. However, I always design my menu and transition audio so that the first 7 - 10 frames are either silent or can be safely truncated.
