Rivergate Software is pleased to make the following special offers for the Summer of 2007 (or winter if you live in the southern hemisphere of course!)

  • Existing DVDAfterEdit Mastering Edition owners may upgrade to the forthcoming full version of HDAfterEdit 1.0 for $349.
  • New purchases of DVDAfterEdit at the regular purchase price of $698 will receive an automatic free upgrade to the full version of HDAfterEdit 1.0.
  • Upgrade DVDAfterEdit Standard Edition to the Mastering Edition and also receive a free upgrade to the full version of HDAfterEdit 1.0.

These offers are good for the period June 1, 2007 through September 30, 2007. Participation in one of these offers will be required in order to join in our beta pre-release program. This program will focus on HD DVD pre-mastering for both standard and advanced content, using both our product's own database or in combination with other tools.

Ownership of HDAfterEdit 1.0 through this offer will include a free upgrade to the Blu-ray edition when it becomes available. Blu-ray development will concentrate first on pre-mastering.

At the conclusion of this offer we reserve the right to price the SD, HD-DVD and Blu-ray components of HDAfterEdit separately.

Rivergate Software will be implementing a new optional subscription support program with the release of HDAfterEdit 1.0. This support will include email and phone support, and will also include automatic upgrades to all future releases and components. We expect to announce the subscription price and terms within a few weeks.

HDAfterEdit owners who do not subscribe to the new subscription service will continue to receive bug fix releases of the software they purchased, but future releases and new components will require an upgrade.

All software owners will continue to receive support through the forums from us and from some of our power users. HDAfterEdit also includes a new bug-reporting feature, which enables users to send us a bug report and the log file directly from the program.

Why should you consider responding to one of these offers? Please check out just such a question from one of our users, and Ian Shepherd's reply.
