HD format poll

Hi Larry,

I think that another option needs to be added to the poll to be totally correct: Both HD DVD and Blu Ray. Since my customers still have not decided which format to adopt I'd like to offer them both options.

Hi Alex,Thanks for voting.

Hi Alex,

Thanks for voting. First I should say - the poll is just for interest, we won't use it's results to make decisions about development. We originally had an option for "both", but everyone was just picking that, which wasn't a very useful result ! The goal is to find out what people need now. Larry fully plans to support Blu Ray, but we were interested to know where people's instincts lie at the moment. For example, we are focusing first on HD DVD, partly because it is "familiar territory" because of the similarities to SD DVD, but also because it seems to be the most accessible and affordable way for people to get HD discs onto the shelves today. But if Blu Ray were to come out on top now, even though the replication costs are much more expensive, that's important to know.

Hope that helps ?

Ian
