Rivergate Software is extending the Summer Offer to existing DVDAfterEdit Mastering Edition owners, to upgrade to HDAfterEdit 1.0 for $349, until September 30, 2007. At that time the price will increase to $449. The upgrade includes access to the beta releases, of course.
The purchase price for DVDAfterEdit Mastering Edition, which also includes a free upgrade to HDAfterEdit 1.0 beta and final, will remain at $698 until further notice.
The price for DVDAfterEdit Standard Edition remains at $349, as does the upgrade price from Standard to Mastering.
The target date for HDAfterEdit 1.0 Beta is Ocober 1, 2007. All features will be frozen at Beta release, and we expect a much shorter Beta period than is typical because there will be no "feature creep" and the code base is solid.
HDAfterEdit 1.0 Final will continue to be supported with free bug fix releases, while we continue development of new features with HDAfterEdit 1.1 Beta and Final. There will be an additional charge for this and all future revision level upgrades, and we will also be implementing an extended support program which will include access to all upgrades during the support period.
We will be publishing more pricing information in these news articles as the product line continues to develop and diversify, and the policies are determined.
