ignoring momentarily the issues associated with making dual layer test discs with dual-layer dvd+r as discussed in

what is the best methodology for burning test dvd-r discs for dvd-5 projects? the two main options i see are to take a disc folder into toast or to use the mastering engine to make a disc image and use apple disc utility to burn the image to disc.

does anyone have any thoughts as to the relative pros and cons of these two methods?
