Seamless Playback flag

Hi,

Can you explain to me why, when I mount a disc image created from a DDP (dual layer) and I open it with DAE, it popups a message telling me that it has converted seamless playback flag to non-seamless because it is the chosen layer break ? I already did that before creating the DDP, the cell was non-seamless.

I'm asking this because I got the check disc from the replicator and the last VTS on the 2nd layer can't be accessed from the title menu and it's an authoring issue. So when the button is activated, it plays from the 1st title (warning) and then plays the main movie, w/o executing commands. But the movie itself, chapters contained on the 2nd layer, is accessible.

This is so strange...

I know about Trai's verification, but I'm trying to figure it out on my own before doing anything else.

BTW Sony is the replicator.

More verification showed

More verification showed that some set top players simply can't read 2nd layer, neither can Apple DVD Player, it just crash.

It clearly seems a replication problem. The DDP image verifies just right and no playback problem here, could it be ever possible a DDP causing such a problem at glass mastering ?
