I've got a project that uses mixed-angle video streams. On a stand-alone player it functions as expected. However, on PC/Mac the playback is not consistent. On some software players not all angles play, subtitles disappear or playback hangs. I've tried a couple of different muxes using DVD Studio Pro and DVDAfterEdit to configure some GPRM code. I'm using Toast 9 to burn with Verbatim media.
PowerDVD, WinDVD are the worst offenders.
Any thoughts are appreciated.

DVD angles are hard
Hi Phil,
Most software players do very badly with multi-angle content. Also you must be very careful to exactly match up the angles in DVD Studio Pro. At Digifilm, when I worked with them on the Quick and Dirty Guide series, they used BitVice to get better encoding control. You must make sure to make each angle exactly the same duration and the audio must also match exactly.
You will not get any true answers until you use hardware players.
Regards,
Larry
