One of the biggest impediments to "perfecting" DVDAfterEdit has been a lack of test projects. Since the DVD Spec is so flexible, there are a tremendous number of ways to author DVD's, and each authoring system does it differently, and in a Spec Authoring system like Scenarist each author does it differently. And DVD's have such an impossibly large amount of data they are too big to download.
So please, if you have the time, send me your projects. I will sign a non-disclosure by fax if necessary. I will use the projects for testing only, and will not show them to anyone else, or discuss their contents, without your permission.
The best way to send a project is to write it to one or two data DVD-R's. depending on size. Since data DVD-R's are larger than each side of a DVD-9, it is easy to split up the files between two of them and make them fit.
From the Mac, Use Toast 6, Data, DVD-ROM (UDF). Other choices may be readable by another Mac because it will contain the Macintosh HFS file system, but not from a PC since Toast will use the ISO file system, and ISO format only supports 2 GB. If you want to use a PC and/or DVD+R that's fine too, since I have a PC that will read anything my Mac can't.
The US Mail does not deliver to my house, but Fedex, UPS, and DHL do. My address is:
